After 72 years South Melbourne/Sydney Swans win a premiership.
And after 8 years absence Johnson scores 56 in his return match. (10 fours and a 6, gotta love these small grounds).
We even managed to win so quickly that I got home to see the second half of the GF with Bruce. I wonder when Smithy will return to earth?

I was wondering where the TV crews and cameras were? Ah well, one of the greatest innings never seen. And I mean really Leo Barry's mark or my hook for 6? Which was more impressive...

Thankyou Riss, despite my efforts at trialling a breakthrough new method of attacking the ball with my face several years ago, you may recall several accounts that said it didn't work too well (my recollection is still a little hazy?)
So I stuck with the time honoured tradition of using my bat this time. Until, my good schmendrick, I was bowled by a yorker for the illustrious 56.
