urbanstone hits the bottle...

or rather I'm hitting the wine label :)

A cafe in Bronte is putting out a small run of its own wine, and is using one of the urbanstone photos for the Botrytis Semillon label (pictured left). I think I'll have to check with my culinary consultant Prof Crawford as to what goes with such a sweet wine as this one?

Regardless, this is definitely a lucrative side-trade I'll be very happy to develop. If I could just figure out what photos would be in demand for a good shiraz label from N-E Victoria? Hmmm...

Hmmm for your next series of syrah photos may I suggest it would have to have something to do a pile of dirt or mud. Possibly a pig emerging from hazy, contented slumber or just some mud-wrestling...

Alternately the moment of impact when a cricket bat hits an unsuspecting tomato - sorta like the feeling a first time Wobby-drinker gets.

ne victoria?
dude, you need to get into the clare valley district business :)

now there be a few good shiraz's in that area...

Ah, nice work indeed.
Gotta love a nice sticky Botrytis!

Still dunno if the savings from crafting my homebrew will allow for the purchase of an outstanding urbanstone work of art....

For now, I'll just stick to ripping pics for my labels elsewhere off the net (Rossy hides his face in utter shame)

I hope you demanded a few sample bottles as payment...

ah yes - tomato, cricket bat, splatsch - that does sound like the first time experience of a Warrabilla Durif or Shiraz.

As you may sense my good Darren, with all due respect to the bounty of Clare Valley (which is remarkable indeed), some of us have an attachment to some bloody big Shiraz's from around Rutherglen. And suffice it to say, that as a new resident of Wagga it is an absolute necessity that you avail yourself of such opportunities very soon. Or God may indeed smite you for irredeemable insolence.

And never fear, Jimmy, negotiations are indeed in full swing!

oh and Rossy - your beer is indeed payment in itself for any urbanstone photographic artifices.

But as for labels, I fear that I cannot compete with such beauties as the "Darth Ale" - absolute classics...

All you need is your imagination and a twisted mind, but I know you're familiar with that.
Rossy beer coming up! I'm sure the 8.2% belgian will compliment an urbanstone botrytis semillon

Imagination and a twisted mind...must be Rossy!
Congrats on hitting the bottle Jono, you know what I mean. Just don't forget to call AA.

Wouldn't be a Rosscrowther beverage without some form of corruption...
