go the colour - despite my usual preference for all things black and white - the contrast of the green with the silver (is it a drop of water) in the background is grabbing me
B & W increases the detail of the veins of the leaf, yet the colour gives greater variations, I think with this one the green wins it. Tell me, is this plant starting to feel superior to its garden bedfellows? It seems to be a fav of yours! I guess it's good to have friends in the garden, especially for when the triffids come, then your green friends can rise up from the earth and protect you from the invaders' nasty nasty ways...
Superior plants? Have you been listening to your Spike Milligan tapes again smollgert? Ok, maybe it is a favourite of mine - it just so happens that they take up one whole side of the driveway that gets the afternoon sun, and therefore the good light for detail. The rest is in the eternal shade of the Bangalow Valley - sigh...
As for me, I think I like the b'w better. I love the veins and the texture.

Definitely the black and white for me - I can almost feel the leathery, wazy leaf in my fingers...
Colour version is the best - steven
